Assisted Hatching
During the assisted hatching procedure a small hole is generated in the zona pellucida that surrounds the embryo. Literature shows that assisted hatching may improve implantation rate in certain cases. A small hole in the zona made by micromanipulation, may assist the hatching of the embryo.
